A number of class action lawsuits were filed recently alleging that certain hospitals in Detroit, Chicago, Albany, San Antonio and Memphis have colluded to suppress nurse wages in violation of anti-trust guidelines of the Department of Justice.  In doing so, these hospitals have depressed wages below the levels necessary to attract enough nurses to give patients the quality health care they deserve.
